Occupational Therapist

Viet Le, MSOT, OTR/L

Viet was born and raised in Missoula, MT.  In 2010, he became inspired to become a therapist after breaking his leg in a martial arts tournament and receiving therapy himself! Viet specializes in upper body strengthening/conditioning, stroke rehab, and he has been getting good outcomes using e-stimulation as a modality as well. 

Viet is very much a Montana boy, enjoying outdoors- fishing, camping, and hiking when he can get out. Viet also has an 11 year old daughter, named Emma, and she is the driving force for working four jobs! Outside of therapy, Viet is wrapping up being a waiter for 25+ years. Viet values being a healing part of his patients' lives, especially his regulars that he runs into from the restaurant- which is a surprising amount!  He also enjoys cooking and teaching his daughter life skills (as much patience as it takes).  He loves to host weekly backyard barbecues with lawn games. 

Viet looks forward to serving his clients in the community and outside of the inpatient rehabilitation setting which he currently works in as well.

Speech Language Pathologist 

Deb D'Almeida, MS, CCC-SLP

Deb is an alumnus from the University of Montana with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Deb has a background of eighteen years in elementary education in Southern California but feels her most valued time was when she was home raising her three children. In 2016, Deb relocated to Montana where she returned to the university to study Speech-Language Pathology. In her off time, Deb loves to try new restaurants with her husband, play with their dogs in the river, or sit at the potter’s wheel to throw some clay in her home studio.

Deb professional experience with Speech-Language Pathology includes working for a private practice in Missoula with a population spanning across ages. She shifted her practice to work with adult populations as she began employment with Reliant Rehabilitation at a skilled nursing facility in Polson. Deb is a certified LSVT Loud! practitioner and continues to develop her skills through continuing education and providing treatment for:

• Cognitive-communication

• Aphasia

• Dementia, including Alzheimer's Disease

• Dysphagia (swallowing)

• Voice and articulation

Deb is excited to join the team at Big Sky Mobile Outpatient Therapy and provide home health therapy for her community in Missoula and N Bitterroot.

Physical Therapist

Jake Capko, DPT

Jake was raised in Corvallis, MT and after earning his BS at Dakota Wesleyan University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Mary, he returned home to provide care for his Southwest Montanan community in 2019.Since his return, Jake has worked with a population across the lifespan in communities from Drummond to Darby; specializing in interdisciplinary neurological rehabilitation including Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Concussion, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injury, stroke, vertigo and balance deficits. He has also assisted many individuals with orthopedic conditions resulting from general deconditioning, joint replacement and repair, and post-amputation. He utilizes research-based clinical evidence to assist individuals in regaining their function and returning to the activities that they enjoy.In his free time you’ll find him reading, hunting, hiking, weight lifting, playing various sports and spending time with his wife raising another generation of Bitterrooters.

Occupational Therapist, Driving Rehabilitation Specialist 

Jessie Alexandar, OTR/L, DRS

Jessie was born and raised in Denver, CO and graduated with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO in 2017. She moved to Missoula in 2023. Jessie is passionate about offering high-quality, holistic,
evidence-based, and empathetic occupational therapy services to her clients. She believes
people are the experts in the management of their own health, and she enjoys partnering with clients to help them reach their goals towards better health and quality of life.
 

Jessie is a member of the America Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the
Association for Driving Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) and holds her national OT board
certification through NBCOT. Jessie has worked in a variety of settings including acute
care, acute rehabilitation, home health, public health, and in the community. Jessie enjoys
working with adults in a variety of populations. Her clinical experience includes neurological conditions like stroke, MS, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson’s, diabetes management and education, orthopedics, amputation management and pre-prosthetic
training, aging in place, home safety education, and driving rehabilitation.

In her free time Jessie enjoys exploring beautiful Montana through hiking, road biking, and
camping with her partner AJ. She also enjoys knitting, reading, watching baseball (go Paddleheads!) and going to the movies at the Roxy Theater.
